The winner of QS ImpACT’s ‘Sustainability Educator’ is Etape Ngole from Cameroon. His project focused on establishing environmental clubs in primary schools with the aim of imparting knowledge to the younger generation and fostering regenerative transformations for a sustainable and green community.
These clubs, to be established in more than five primary schools, will engage students in various activities such as tree planting , monitoring tree growth to maturity, and participating in vegetable gardening and composting. Until now, 30 fruit trees have been planted by the schools which will provide nutrition for the students itself.
The students have been educated on the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and various community issues that tie into the SDGs. Environmental clubs in primary schools will help boost the regenerative mindset of pupils to be aware and actively participate in making their community green.
Through these activities, students will develop a sense of responsibility for protecting their environment and understand the importance of preserving trees and regenerating their surroundings. Ultimately, the project aims to cultivate a new generation of environmental advocates and climate change champions committed to promoting regeneration and sustainability.

It featured influential speeches and engaging discussions, showcasing the participation of distinguished leaders from the United Nations, Forbes 30 Under 30 and renowned global universities. A remarkable lineup of over 15 speakers and 16 judges contributed to the event's success, adding depth and value to the mission. The primary objective of the awards was to acknowledge and honour exceptional youth leaders spanning the globe, recognising their remarkable contributions to community regeneration and transformation. After a rigorous evaluation, 45 finalists emerged from 18 different countries, with 8 emerging as winners.
Critical to the success of the event were the collaborative efforts with 15 impact partners, who played a pivotal role in supporting and enriching the journey towards creating a truly impactful and successful awards ceremony. The QS ImpACT Awards not only celebrated individual achievements but also fostered a collective spirit of regeneration.
